Fill out the required fields:
Attribute Name
Help Text (to explain the attribute’s purpose)
Input Format (e.g., text, number, date)
Options List (if applicable)
⚠️ Note:
While selecting the category, be mindful of the level at which you're mapping the attribute:
If you map an attribute at the parent level, it will automatically apply to all child categories under it.
If you map the attribute at a child level, it will not be available for the parent or sibling categories.
This impacts how attributes appear during enrichment — so make sure you're mapping at the level that aligns with your product structure.
💾 Step 5: Save the Attribute
After entering all the details, click “Save” at the bottom of the form.
✅ Step 6: View Your Attributes
You’ll return to the Manage Product Attributes page.
Your newly created attribute will appear in the list. You can:
Edit it
Delete it
Reuse it in product data
📝 Notes & Best Practices
Use clear and consistent naming for attributes (e.g., "Material Type", not "mat-type").
The Help Text field is useful for guiding team members or sellers during product uploads.
Make sure dropdown values are standardized and avoid duplicates (e.g., "Blue", not "blue", "BLU").
Attributes created here can be used during SKU uploads or while editing product details.
Once saved, attributes are immediately available in the system.
