📌 Why This Matters

Wondering why category–attribute mapping is important? Here's the impact:

Cleaner Experience
When attributes are mapped correctly, users see only the relevant fields — not a long list of unrelated ones.

⚙️ Smart Automation
The enrichment screen automatically loads the right attributes based on the selected category, making the process faster and more intuitive.

⚠️ What Can Go Wrong?

  • Unmapped categories show all attributes by default

  • Increases chances of error and confusion

  • May lead to invalid or incorrect product data

🛠️ Best Practices

  • Validate your mappings regularly

  • Reuse existing standard attributes when possible

  • Audit category-attribute links whenever new categories are added

🌳 Step 1: Open Category Tree
From the bottom-right of your dashboard, click "Category Tree".

🧭 Step 2: Choose a Category

  1. You’ll see the Your Category Tree page

  2. Expand a category using the left-side toggle

  3. Click "More" on the right of the category

  4. Select "View Applicable Attributes"

➕ Step 3: Add Attributes

  1. Click "Browse Attributes" (top-right)

  2. In the pop-up, select the attributes you want to add

  3. Click "Add X Attributes" (bottom-right)

  4. The attributes will now be linked to that category
