Share selected SKUs or categories on your E-Catalog (custom catalog)

Trustana allows your company to create custom catalogs with the SKUs you want to put forward to a specific buyer or a specific campaign.

Updated over a week ago

Trustana E-Catalog allows internal users like the sales team, or even external customers, to browse, shortlist, and extract focused information only on the products of interest, instantly. This can happen either from the main catalog of products or by curating a custom catalog, focused for example on one category instead of the full range. The custom catalogs can be made for a variety of purposes, such as:

  • Presenting a selected category or subcategory only (ie: Cosmetics, Facial Creams, Snacks)

  • Presenting a campaign selection (ie: Chinese New Year, Christmas, Ramadan, Summer, Winter, etc.)

  • Presenting curated products based on a specific buyer requirement (ie: only products from Japan)

Creating a Custom Catalog

On Homepage, click on the Catalogs tab on the navigation panel to the left.

Here you will be able to visualise your General Catalog along with all other custom catalogs created by your company users (which are not private).

  1. To create a new Custom Catalog, click on the purple button 'Create Catalog' on top right corner of the screen.

The process involves 3 stages: Setting up basic Catalog info, Selecting Products, Configuring attribute visibility

  2. Basic Info

    1. Here you are able to give your catalog:

      1. A name
For example, ""Winter Collection 2023"", or ""(Customer Name) 2023"", or ""Japanese selection""

      2. A description

      3. A thumbnail image.

    2. You can also configure the contact details you want displayed on the public E-Catalog.

  3. Product Selection

    1. Here, you can search the products you want to add

    2. Search will work on product name, product brand and product ID fields

    3. Simply check the boxes of the products you want to showcase

    4. When ready, click 'Add Products' on the bottom right part of the screen to save the selection

    5. To remove products, click 'Remove' at the bottom of the product card

  4. Display Configuration

    1. This allows you to choose what fields to show and which ones to hide on the E-Catalog version.

    2. Fields are grouped by section, and at the bottom, you may find your own custom fields (custom attributes) to include or exclude.

  5. Next you can choose to 'Save as Draft' or to 'Save & Publish'

    1. Draft means the catalog is not published and cannot be seen publicly

    2. Save & Publish will save the catalog and with be accessible publicly with the link. However, colleagues within your company will not be able to see it or edit it.

    3. If you wish to make the catalog visible and editable by your colleagues, click on the 'More' menu at the bottom right of the catalog card and select 'Set as Viewable by Team'

    4. You can always revert back to 'Private' by clicking on 'More' again. The catalog, however, is still publicly viewable with its E-Catalog link.
