🔍 Where Should This Data Come From?
Don’t worry — you're not expected to create a category tree from scratch. In most cases, you already have one in your existing eCommerce system or website.
Here’s how to find it based on your platform:
Shopify: Use your Collections or Navigation Menu as a starting point. These usually reflect your live category structure and can be exported.
Magento / WooCommerce / BigCommerce: Your category hierarchy can often be exported directly from the Admin > Catalog > Categories section.
Custom Websites / CMS: Your development or web content team can help pull your category list from the CMS, backend settings, or site structure.
⚠️ Important: Please submit your category data using the CSV template provided by Trustana. For technical compatibility, we can’t accept spreadsheets in other formats.
